A message from the College Principal
As a state college, Woodcrest welcomes the enrolment of children and young people from all families who live within our primary and secondary enrolment catchments. Our College caters for the needs and aspirations of students across all the phases of learning. College staff are committed to a whole-of-schooling approach that smoothly and successfully transitions students from one learning phase to the next all the while taking into account the rich diversity of our student population. In the early phase the focus is on access with an emphasis on knowledge, understanding and skill for success at school with the focus transitioning to engagement of students. In the middle phase, engagement of students is the key priority. The focus in the senior phase is on multiple pathways. At Woodcrest State College our vision is to provide high-quality education that makes a difference to the lives of all our students in their pursuit of personal excellence. In particular we seek to equip children and young people for the present and the future, enabling them to contribute to a socially, economically and culturally vibrant and sustainable society.
