Dear Woodcrest parents and carers,
All Queensland state schools undergo a school review at least once every 4 years. Reviews are an important part of each school's planning and improvement cycle and provide schools with independent feedback, tailored to their context and needs. In collaboration with staff and the school community, principals use the findings from the reviews to inform plans for the next stage of the school's improvement journey.
Next week, a team of 5 reviewers will visit Woodcrest State College from Tuesday 29th April to Friday 2nd May. During this time the review team will speak with staff, students, parents/carers and community members. Students may speak with a member of the school review team in their classroom, in the playground or in small groups. Parents may have a conversation with a member of the review team in person at the gates before and after school or over the phone. All conversations remain confidential.
Attached is a fact sheet explaining the school review process.
