Instrumental Music
Why participate?
Children who study music from an early age can do better at a range of subjects.
Children who play music learn there are rewards from hard work, practice and discipline.
Playing a musical instrument helps develop kids' creative thinking and motor skills.
Music helps kids become more active listeners.
It can also enhance their health and wellbeing and increase their stamina.
Instrumental Music lessons:
String instruments - Years 3 and above
Percussion, Woodwind, Brass - Years 4 and above
All instruments are available for hire through the school for the first year of tuition.
Lesson take place during school hours.
Costs
$40 music levy per year.
$50 first year, instrument hire fee (if using a school instrument).
Students will also need to purchase a tutor book and some consumables.
