Woodcrest State College is continuing to build a tradition of excellence in sport. We offer students the opportunity to be involved in a huge range of sports to complement their academic learning.
From Years 7-12, we strive to develop students to reach their full potential as athletes. We have 4 Academy programs on offer, AFL, Basketball, Netball and Volleyball and an AFL Excellence Program.
Woodcrest State College students have the opportunity to participate against the neighbouring schools in an interschool sport gala days. These gala days provide an opportunity for students to participate in a competition and progress through to metropolitan finals.
The following intra-school (college level) sporting events are held at various times throughout the year:

- Primary Athletics Day
